Frequently asked questions

Which calculators are included?

Quick pay tools are available for every country: hourly to annual conversion, pay raise and cost to hire. On top of that each country adds its own statutory calculators, for example gratuity, HRA exemption, PF and leave encashment for India, holiday entitlement and redundancy pay for the UK, PTO accrual and timesheet with overtime for the US, end-of-service gratuity for the UAE, CPF for Singapore, 13th-month pay for the Philippines, superannuation for Australia and CPP and EI for Canada.

Which countries does it work for?

The quick pay tools work for any country. Country-specific statutory calculators are available for India, the UK, the US, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Canada and South Africa, with more added over time. Pick your country first and the calculator list updates to match it.

Is it free to use?

Yes. Every calculator is free and needs no credit card. Sign in if you want your country and salary details filled in for you and your results saved.

How accurate are the results?

The arithmetic is done by fixed formulas in code, not estimated by AI, so the same inputs always give the same answer. India is computed to statute, including professional tax for all 36 states and union territories. Treat the output as indicative for planning and verify against local rules before you pay anyone on it.

Why is take-home pay not in here?

Gross to net take-home is a bigger calculation with income tax and social contributions, so it has its own tool, the Take-home Pay Calculator. These calculators cover the single-purpose items you need alongside it.

Can I link straight to one calculator?

Yes. Each calculator can be opened directly with the country and calculator already selected, which is how the individual calculator pages such as the gratuity and HRA pages open this tool.
